The Southampton Hospital hosted the 58th Annual Summer Party on Saturday, August 6th in support of Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department, the sole provider of emergency care in the South Fork. The exclusive party was designed and produced by celebrity event planner, Larry Scott of Lawrence Scott Events, and took place at the corner of Wickapogue Road and Old Town Road in Southampton, NY.
Lawrence Scott Events’ parties are one-of-a-kind celebrations, and that was truly the case at the 58th Annual Summer Party, flooded with gold atmospheric lighting, and complimented by dark wood plus gold table accents. The room’s ambiance would bring the dessert table to guest’s attention as it included, to name a few, chocolate cake pops, chocolate drizzled scones and double chocolate cupcakes.
Throughout the unforgettable night, guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner and dancing, while giving back during a silent auction and raffle orchestrated by the emcee, Chuck Scarborough. Benefit chairs included Hollis and James Forbes together with Marigay Mckeeand Bill Ford.
Prominent philanthropist and author, Jean Shafiroff, attended the summer party. She is a longtime supporter of Southampton Hospital, and has chaired the Annual Summer Partythree times, raising a total of $5.4 million. Shafiroff’s philanthropic efforts have been influential in the success of the hospital. Earlier this summer, she hosted a cocktail party to celebrate the announcement of Southampton Hospital’s Phillips Family Cancer Center. Jean Shafiroff displays unwavering support for Southampton Hospital; therefore, her efforts do not go unnoticed.
