Lifestyle and Entertaining Expert Pamela Morgan of Flirting With Flavors produced her annual end-of-summer celebration at her home in Water Mill, NY. Displaying her design savvy and culinary expertise as a chef and cookbook author, the party brought a close to the summer and start to the Fall 2018 season, welcoming Pamela Morgan’s dearest friends to celebrate this year’s theme of ‘Fiesta Mexicana’.

Notable attendees included: Pamela Morgan, Michael Trokel, Nicole Miller, Ramona Singer, John Barman, Henry Buhl, Kenneth Fishel, Maria Fishel, Kelly Graham, Maribelle Lieberman, Collen Rein and Victoria Wyman.

Decorated to fit the theme, in bright, bold hues, the Water Mill estate had a colorful ambiance and embodied the vibrant beauty of Mexican culture. With an eye for design and the effectiveness of appeal, Pamela Morgan meticulously decorated the event with Serape-lined tables, sombreros, bright potted flowers and festive maracas. She crafted an Instagram Wall covered in Mexican folkloric prints, colors plus an assortment of tissue pom-poms which provided her guests with a lasting memory of the creative celebration. Morgan arranged traditional clay pottery and ceramic artworks throughout her home which added to the authenticity of the evening’s theme.

Following suit, Pamela Morgan and the Flirting With Flavors culinary team brought the rich flavors of authentic Mexican cuisine to their guests who enjoyed a tastefully arranged Taco Bar with pork, chicken, fish, shrimp or beef fixings to fill freshly made Tortillas. Throughout the evening, passed hors d’oeuvres included an array of Mexican light bites including the White Gazpacho, Tequila Shrimp, and Spicy Salmon Tartare.

Maestro Dobel Tequila and Lolea Sangria provided an excellent selection of cocktails, wines and spirits. Behind the bar, a mixologist conjured the Dobel Diamante Tequila with Agave Syrup, fresh lime and a black salted rim and the Dobel Anejo blending together Mexican chocolate & aromatic bitters with agave and orange-peel garnish. Guests danced all night to the beats of a live drummer and the musical stylings of DJ Turnix.

Pamela Morgan’s unique approach to the execution of special events likens to the theatrical production of a Broadway musical. Rehearsing lines and marking cues, Morgan orders the steps of her team and carefully selected vendors. She constructs scenes and designs moments that bring her ideas to life and become engrained in the memories of her attendees or shared amongst friends.
