Jewelry loving bargain hunters mark your calendars and save the date because a once in a lifetime opportunity is just around the corner, Thursday, August 2nd through Sunday, August 5th, 2018. That’s when the Hamptons Jewelry Show will showcase some of the world’s most magnificent and unique pieces of estate and fine contemporary jewelry, vintage handbags and significant art objects, comprising the largest luxury collection ever presented together on Long Island’s East End.

With a total inventory collectively valued at $30+ million, the four-day extravaganza takes place at the equally spectacular 20,000 square foot jewelry pavilion at the Southampton Elks Fairgrounds. The Fairgrounds are located at 605 Country Road 39 next to Mercedes Benz on the gateway to the Hamptons in Southampton, NY, which has long been known as one of America’s preeminent playgrounds for the super-rich and famous.

Designed with the discerning Hamptonite specifically in mind, more than 80 internationally renowned jewelry manufacturers, designers, artists, goldsmiths and dealers will be on hand to display their wares in individually designed and lighted booths in a museum-like pavilion that is open to the public.

Among some of the exhibitors are Alexandra Mor, Pat Flynn, Gabriel Ofiesh Jewelry, Lika Behar Collection, Paul Morelli and Alessandro Barellini Firenze, as well as diamond, gem and gold elite jewelers David Friedman, Emsaru, Louis Newman & Co. and Nigram Jewels, plus estate dealers Gregory Kay Estate and Antique Jewelry, Jacob’s Diamond & Estate Jewelry and L&Z Antique and Estate Jewelers.

With prices ranging from $500 to over $1 million, some of which will be available at below retailer rates, more than 5,000 patrons are expected to attend. Security will also be extremely tight and unprecedented for the Hamptons. To gain entry, patrons will need to present a government issued ID at the front gate where armed guards will be present. Daily general admission is $25.00 per person and tickets can be purchased either online or onsite. The glamorous Opening Night Preview is two-tiered. For black-card patrons who will be the very first admitted from 6pm to 9:30pm, the cost is $100 per person. For VIP pass holders, the cost is $75 per person from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. There is free parking right on the site. There will also be music, as well as outdoor dining with food provided by Chef Collette from the Inn Spot along with tastings of wine and spirits throughout the weekend.

Beyond the great buys, another reason to go is that the Hamptons Jewelry Show is also committed to raising funds and holding specialty events for local charities. This includes an opening night party from 6:00 to 9:30PM on August 2, 2018 with proceeds going towards the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital; “Crack the Vault”, August 3rd from 6:00 to 8PM in which attendees will receive a code to a locked safe holding a valuable $5,000 piece of jewelry donated by Hammerman Brothers with proceeds going towards Family Service League; and “The Hamptons Gold Rush Jubilee” for The Retreat Domestic Violence Shelter where a $250 gift certificate will be given to patrons upon admission to be used with participating exhibitors. Other charity fundraising efforts are also in the works.

“In addition to the opportunity to raise funds for worthy local charities, we see this as an amazingly beneficial event for Hamptonites in a number of other significant ways,” says Hamptons Jewelry Show founder Rick Friedman, a longtime producer of numerous luxury fairs in the Hamptons, including ArtHamptons. “Not only have we curated top estate dealers, designers and goldsmiths from around the world, but their breathtaking pieces are offered at amazingly attractive prices. By creating a direct to the public sales channel, which eliminates the wholesaler or retailer and is a whole new concept in the jewelry industry, there are amazing bargains to be had at every price level. The real winner is the fairgoer.”
