Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin and Michaela Seewald debut V&S Global Studio in a stunning NYFW finale blending fashion, heritage, and technology.
A Historic Debut at Grand Central Terminal
Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin and Michaela Seewald brought their new fashion venture spectacularly to life at Grand Central Terminal, debuting Vanderbilt & Seewald Global Studio before a packed crowd inside the historic Vanderbilt Hall during New York Fashion Week.

The presentation marked the first major public showcase for the platform co-founded by Vanderbilt Costin—founder and CEO of House of Vanderbilt and co-founder of SohoMuse—and Seewald, founder and CEO of V24 Media. Together, the two entrepreneurs established V&S Global Studio on an ambitious premise: uniting capital, strategic advisory, media, and direct-to-consumer technology to help international designers scale into U.S. and global markets without compromising their ownership, creative independence, or brand identity.
A Global Runway Showcase
Emceed by Mario Lopez, the runway spotlighted three distinct international perspectives: Mexican designer Lorena Saravia, Stockholm-based Dustin Glickman of DSTN, and Paris couturier Nabil Hayari of Hayari Paris. Hand-selected to reflect the partnership’s global scope, the lineup ranged from Saravia’s synthesis of Mexican heritage and contemporary tailoring to DSTN’s “dark cowboy” aesthetic and Hayari’s classic Parisian couture.

Fashion Meets Entertainment, Heritage, and Tech
Throughout the evening, fashion intersected with live entertainment, American history, and emerging technology. In a nod to the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary, a color guard representing the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy opened the proceedings with a patriotic tribute, followed by a musical performance from Leslie Ann Lopez.
The venue itself served as a symbolic centerpiece. More than a century after the Vanderbilt family helped build Grand Central Terminal, Vanderbilt Costin reintroduced the family name to the landmark—this time alongside Seewald to champion a new generation of creators, entrepreneurs, and tech innovators.

Bridging Legacy and Modern Innovation
Past and present converged as AEXA Technology projected lifelike holograms of Cornelius Vanderbilt, Alva Vanderbilt, Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney, and Consuelo Vanderbilt Balsan throughout the hall. Rather than treating heritage as mere nostalgia, the digital revival reinforced the evening’s core mission: transforming a celebrated American legacy into a launchpad for modern innovation.
Cutting-edge commerce played an equally central role. Integrating livestreaming with seamless Click-to-Buy capabilities, V&S Global Studio linked the runway experience inside Vanderbilt Hall directly to remote viewers—turning the energy of a live show into immediate consumer engagement and commercial momentum.
And in a space determined to disrupt industry conventions, Vanderbilt & Seewald managed to break one of NYFW’s oldest traditions right out of the gate: the show started precisely on time.
